COVID-19 and its significant impact on the labor market
The pandemic hit the world of employment hard. The way work has changed and the availability of positions has diminished. Considering NEOM’s focus on sustainability, this is your chance to design a program that would allow recent high school graduates to access full & productive employment. Consider possible delivery models and what ‘full & productive employment’ would mean for this demographic.
Help NEOM become a tourism hotspot in the MENA region
Considering the impact of COVID-19 on the tourism & hospitality industries, and the variety of competing tourist destinations in the area, design a tourism strategy which promotes ESG and sustainability principles. As part of the strategy, include a curriculum that focuses on upskilling and training future employees.
Youth unemployment is a global challenge
Create a presentation for your government with specific guidance on how to solve this challenge and provide more employment opportunities for your country’s youth. Think about the aspects of your nation’s economy, education, natural resources, sustainability and governance. Which of these recommendations would you apply to NEOM?

How can NEOM’s education system equip students for the next era of employment? With this challenge you’ll design a curriculum that prepares and empowers students to succeed in a future of automation, digitalization and the increase of smart tech.
The importance of ESG principles in businesses, society, and investments.
These are vital principles in the modern business world. Surprisingly, some business leaders are resistant to addressing, not only the importance of change, but the lucrative opportunities that come with ESG principles. Create a training program and PR campaign aimed at disrupting traditional business methods and training programs that’ll educate and inform these busines leaders.
